Ok, these are my guesses on what will happen throught the year of '07 in gaming. (Some of these may be a little outrages if you think about it, but they DO come to some sense) (all money in USD currencies)

1. There will be no clear winner of the console war in 2007
The Wii will remain popular but... the 360 will have a $50 price drop, adding some heat. And the '07 releases for the ps3 will bump the system back up with them making a tie for this year.

2. The PS3 will get a price drop
Honestly, sony will have to do this. Even though the ps3 costs over $1000 to make, sony will do a $100 price drop out of desperation. so they will end up losing more money just to try gain some.

3. ps3 and wii will get sued... alot
I'm sure you all know why the wii will get sued. the ps3, will be sued for the same reasons the 360 was sued last year, 1st genaration defectivness. (yes the 360 was sued many times last year)

4. DS continues to pwn, PSP will almost die out
the DS is becoming the ps2 of portable gaming. as it grows, more and more companies will develop for it, pushing the psp out of the picture. Sony will probably give it a price drop, and maybe even make a redesign. (like the DS lite)

5. Videogame industry begins to decline
As wacked as it sounds, it will probably become a serious issue. Making games is getting VERY expensive, even for the wii. Because of this the developer side of videogaming will drop alot.

6. latest-gen PC gaming hits rock bottom
And we will owe it all to windows vista. vista is buggy, full of DRM, and requires DX 10. because of this it will fall flat and latest-gen pc games will go right long with it. MMORPG's, steam and others like those will still be VERY strong though.

7. World's first murder from an online game
this will be the "hot coffee mod" of 07. Wether it's halo or warcraft, somebody will get mad at somebody else and one will go to the other guy's house and kill him/her. It will probably happen in America, because... yeah.

8. DS will go mobile
mobile as in "mobile phone". yes, that's right, Nintendo will pull something outragous and launch the DS phone in japan to see how well it does.

9. GTA IV fails
not just fail, it will be the biggest disapointment of the year. With all this Jack thompson shit GTA IV will be a water-down version of it's predicessors... damn you Jack!

10. The Game of the Year is...
How the hell should I know? Seriously, I don't know, theirs to many possiblities...  

Didn't the PSP already try to reinvent themselves with the ceramic white version? and there were all those new ads for it? but in the end it sucked?

Hmm its interesting that you say that the PS3 will catch up. What games will cause it to do this?

I'm not sure if they already have a white PSP, but whatever. They're are alot of games ofr th ps3 that will help, Metal Gear 4, GTA (it will sale, but... ) final fantesy and some others will help push it up.

yeah they have a white psp but it looks really crap and isn't popular so you might not have heard about it.

hmm, DS Lite, PSP... Wite? get it? guess the "6th axis" isn't the only thing sony stole...

Local FOX 5 news here stated a women entered a contests in which you go on a "water diet" and you hold in your piss for a certain amount of time in order ot win a wii. She died of water intoxication in califorina. of course the press is blaming everything on the wii, so this will only be the beginig in the wii's law-suits.

I know, but the presds does what will get them money, and that's bashing videogames, at least once a month.

It sounds as if the press wants to DIE.....well GTA will definately fail cause everyone is going the 360 way  with saints row....really funn
